Gran Turismo Game Features New Mercedes-Benz Model

If you’ve ever wanted to take a new Mercedes-Benz vehicle out for a lightning-fast spin on a track, now’s your chance! Well, you’ll have to take the car out for a few virtual laps, but you won’t have to worry about real world limitations like speed limits, spinning out, or running out of gas.

Thanks to Kazunori Yamauchi, Gran Turismo series producer and President of Polyphony Digital Inc., and the designers at the Bavarian automaker, video gamers will have the opportunity to drive a powerful model called the Mercedes-Benz AMG® Vision Gran Turismo in the sixth version of this popular game.

The vehicle is loosely based off of the Mercedes-Benz SLS-Class and is complete with the gull-wing doors that make this particular model so enticing. You can hear the faint purr of its 585 horsepower twin-turbocharged AMG® V8 engine as you tear around the screen, and it sails along the virtual roadways thanks to its ultralight frame.

Drivers also get to experience a high-tech floating instrument panel and other interior design elements that are clearly inspired by Formula 1 race cars as they sit in the comfort of their own homes.

The whole thing is a lot of fun, for automotive enthusiasts and gamers alike.
