Henderson December Events 2016

With the holidays just around the corner and loved ones coming into town, there is no better way to celebrate the spirit of the season than by going to the many fun-filled events taking place right in our backyard. If you’re not sure what to do, perhaps Mercedes-Benz of Henderson can help.

Black Mountain Recreation Center
599 Greenway Rd (at Horizon)

To kick things off this December, start by taking your little furry ones to meet and pose for pictures with Santa Claus. For a nominal cost, you can purchase picture packages and take home a lifetime of memories.
Will your pup be on the naughty list or the nice one?

2016 Winterfest
200 Water Street
Water Street District

Looking to entertain a range of interests? Load up your gang into your Fletcher Jones Mercedes-Benz and take a trip to hear the Henderson Symphony Orchestra, watch the tree lighting ceremony, build gingerbread houses, eat fun foods, and finish the weekend with an evening parade at the 2016 Winterfest running December 8-10th. If a member of your group is still chiming “bah-humbug” they can probably expect to find a lump of coal in their stocking.

Jingle Bell Run
Pecos Legacy Park
150 Pecos Road

Jingle all the way down a 3.1-mile course along the Pittman Wash Trail in the city of Henderson on December 17. Grab a friend, wear your holiday apparel, and join in on the 5K fun run. Stick around afterwards for holiday food available from Makena Lei’s Shaved Ice and Goodies, plus live music. All fitness levels are welcome, from elf to reindeer, to snowman, whatever your shape or speed.
