Perhaps the desert isn’t the first place you think of when it comes to Christmas, but Henderson and Las Vegas has plenty of Christmas events to put you in the holiday spirit. Take a look at Mercedes-Benz of Henderson top 4 places to visit this season.
1) Winterfest
Winterfest is going on now! This year’s theme is Dazzling Desert Holiday. Be sure to check out the official tree-lighting ceremony with Santa Claus and Mayor Debra March on December 8th starting at 6p.m. The festivities don’t end there, come back on December 9, 2017 at 5 p.m. for the evening Light Parade!
2) Holiday Cactus Garden
Ethel M Chocolates is hosting its 24th Annual Holiday Cactus Garden. Watch as 1 million holiday lights take over the desert, now until January 1, 2018. Plus, you’ll want to check out the new skating rink. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
3) Magical Forest
Celebrate the holidays in Las Vegas at the Magical Forest at Opportunity Village. Visit Santa, ride the Forest Express Passenger train, and explore the Christmas tree forest. Be on the lookout for the Mercedes-Benz of Henderson’s tree!
Magical Forest at Opportunity Village opens nightly from 5:30 p.m. through Sunday, December 31, 2017
4) Cosmopolitan Ice Rink
Who says you can’t find snow in Vegas? The Cosmopolitan transforms into a winter wonderland! Skate across 4,200 square feet of real ice, gaze at the beautiful lights of the Las Vegas Strip, and watch as light snow showers the rink.
