In the CLS550, a 5.5 liter V-8 gathers 382 horsepower, launching it from 0 to 60 in 5.4 seconds, while the hand-built CLS63 AMG V-8 with 507 horsepower brings the vehicle from 0 to 60 in just 4.3 seconds. Both configuraitons boast the world's first 7-speed automatic transmission, with Touch Shift for manual-style shifting, equaling the last word in performance.
