We here at Mercedes-Benz of Henderson couldn't be more excited about it, and now that they've shifted their focus from practical to cosmetic, the technicians in our car parts department have never been so happy.

The last time that we here at Mercedes-Benz of Henderson told you about the cutting-edge technologies in our new and pre-owned cars, we were telling you about our favorite automaker's recent partnership with the GPS wizards at Garmin. It was all very exciting and the experts in our car parts department were simply over the moon about it. But since satellite navigation comes second to driver safety, the brass at Mercedes-Benz thought they'd make life that much easier for rescue workers.

For all the fun that we have taking our 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Roadster models for a test drive down to Las Vegas here at Mercedes-Benz of Henderson, we have to admit that it's not exactly a vision of practicality. After all, when your friend asks you to help them move over the weekend, you won't be fitting that loveseat of theirs into your two-seater convertible. But if you roll up in a 2013 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van, then you'll be earning yourself some easy best friend points.

As much as we love all the coupes, sedans and cabriolets that make up our new and used car lineup here at Mercedes-Benz of Henderson, we can't help but a hold a special fondness for the SUVs on our lot. What can we say, things just change the day you become parents. And with the recent unveiling of the Mercedes-Benz GLA Concept, we're crossing our fingers for a brand new addition.

At the risk of dating ourselves, there was actually a time when we considered a CD deck on the dash to be some real cutting-age stuff.
