Mercedes-Benz developed a B-class electric-fuel (EF) vehicle. To prove its technical acuity, Mercedes-Benz planning to drive the car around the world in 125 days. The journey will cover 14 countries on four continents and it will run through portions of the United States.
The F-cell is powered from electricity generated by an onboard hydrogen fuel-cell stack and stored in a lithium-ion battery pack. The electric motor produces 134 horsepower (hp) and 215 lb.-ft. of torque, which is a driving range of 240-250 miles.The journey is designed not only to demonstrate the "technical maturity of the B-Class, F-Cell", but…
