Mercedes-Benz SLK Unveiled by the French

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK was unveiled, probably accidentally, by a French promotional video for the German auto maker.

The video clip shows the SLK in its full SLS AMG-inspired glory. New design features include front quarter vents, adaptive headlights (with LED daytime running lights), an integrated trunk-lid spoiler and LED taillights.  The optional AMG package adds a revised front fascia (with LED fog lights), AMG wheels, and cross-drilled brakes.

Inside the new car, the SLK's cabin is similar to the SLS, with a prominent center console and round air vents. Other highlights include a dash-mounted clock, sun-reflecting leather seats…

Mercedes-Benz B-Class Details

Autocar reported new details on the next-generation 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Class. The B-Class is tol be made from a new front-wheel drive platform, and will be made of a conventional unibody frame, which will make it less expensive than the current model's structure.

This new platform will also influence the next A-Class, as well as other vehicles including a compact SUV and a small sedanl.

For the next B-Class, it will have power plants supplied by in-house engines for the upper range output offerings. The smaller plants will include 1.2 liter, 1.4 liter and 1.8 liter turbocharged…
